Group balance sheet

Total assets at year-end 2009 amounted to € 593.5 million, compared with € 626.8 million at year-end 2008. This reduction was mainly due to less working capital and the sale of BelCompany Belgium.
Equity was strengthened by € 32.5 million to € 234.0 million (2008: € 201.5 million), or 39.4% of total assets (2008: 32.2%).
