Sustainable growth in retail

Realising that we had to take greater responsibility mainly came in 1999 when Kwantum was called to account for selling non-sustainably produced wood. We responded at the time by setting up The Forest Trust (TFT) together with other retailers. Partly as a result of this, we succeeded in selling only FSC certified wood within 3.5 years. This method of cooperation serves as a basis for other Macintosh operating companies.
